Eve Zalwango

Evelyn is the General Manager of AmCham Uganda with over a decade of experience in carpentry, marketing, interior design and community development.

She oversees the Chamber's operations, member engagements and inclusive business programs. As the founder of the Fundi Women Initiative, She empowers women affected by early marriage, trafficking and young motherhood through carpentry and entrepreneurship training. Evelyn is a YALI Fellow and has received several honors including the 2023 Outstanding Community Social Impact Award and the 2018 Women 4 Women Award. Her leadership and commitment to inclusion drive AmCham's mission and impactful partnerships.
